Christopher Gaynor, MD, MA, FAAFP

Christopher Gaynor, MD, MA, FAAFP is a locally trained, board-certified family physician, with extensive experience in full-spectrum family medicine, including obstetrics. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Washington. He enjoys empowering people of all ages to become as healthy as they can be, by getting to know them, and by meeting them where they are, in terms of readiness for change.

Chris' counseling degree, and background in psychology and substance abuse augment his ability to guide clients toward wholeness. He particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents, performing procedures in medicine, including colposcopy, and caring for GLBT and multicultural families. He speaks medical Spanish, but is not fluent.

He enjoys connecting with the earth and with his physical and spiritual self via a variety of activities. Chris' family, primarily his partner, and their adopted son, is his primary source of support and rejuvenation, and joy.
