The outbreak of Coronavirus has had a profound effect on our lives in many ways. When normal changes occur, it isnormal to feel frustrated, anxious, and depressed. Following government advice, we have all been encouraged to stay home and relax. Social isolation and strict hygiene practices are being strengthened to help combat the spread of COVID-19.
While it is important to create social isolation and isolation, there may be social isolation as face-to-face contact has been severely restricted in the last few weeks. We are living people; therefore, loneliness and sadness may be the result. It is now more important than ever to take care of your mental and physical health during difficult times like these. Staying active can be as simple as taking a short walk around your yard, garden, cleaning the home environment, knitting and cooking. Keep your body flexible by stretching or doing yoga early in the morning when you wake up. Having a daily routine is important to keep you active, strong and healthy during isolation.
Get fresh air:
Get out! Many activities can be accomplished outside, such as hiking, hiking, and biking. If you are tired of roaming your neighborhood, try a new greenway or trail (just be sure to keep a safe distance for others). Being outdoors while exercising can also provide your daily dose of Vitamin D. Talk about doing more activities!
Diet and nutrition:
Training and avoiding “emotional eating” because of the stress that may be associated with the radical changes surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic and how it affects our lives is important. According to the CDC, whole foods such as black, leafy vegetables, oranges and tomatoes – even fresh herbs – are loaded with vitamins, fiber and minerals. Make it a practice to try to eat more nutritious foods than processed foods or fast foods.
Talking to loved ones while you are alone can help reduce anxiety and low moods. Take the time to use many technologies and applications (many of them free) that can help you stay in touch with your loved ones. Our busy lives before COVID-19 may limit how often we connect with our loved ones remotely, now is the time to make full use of these modern skills in relationships, friendships, and friendships.
